The North Texas Council on Youth Leadership (“NTCYL”) helps young people grow into responsible adults by encouraging, recognizing and developing leadership skills. The council honors high school juniors who have maintained at least a 3.0 grade point average or higher through the end of their sophomore year and have held two or more leadership roles to which they were chosen by their peers or an adult leader within the past two years in school, religious or community sponsored organizations.
Each student that is accepted into the North Council on Youth Leadership will participate in workshops held by our board members and community leaders, have volunteer opportunities, scholarship opportunities, award presentation with 2-4 students receiving expenses paid trip to the National Council on Youth Leadership annual convention at George Washington University, a photoshoot with title sponsor Chris Fritchie Studios. Special community recognition lead by Style Publishing Group, owner of Frisco STYLE Magazine™.
North Texas Council on Youth Leadership’s vision is to make tomorrow’s world better by developing leaders today. We believe the investments of time, energy, and resources in our local youth will pay enormous dividends in the future.
